About This Wine
In the village of Zeindari in the Imereti region of Western Georgia. Organic. Unfiltered and unfined. 100% Tskhvedianis Tetra from 40-year-old vines.
The barrels were under a light flor with a small amount of oxygen, so the influence is subtle. Gentle and delicate, soft acidity and subtle salty minerality. Lemon peel with hints of chamomile.
Grapes are hand-harvested and directly pressed into stainless steel tanks, where they ferment with indigenous yeast at ambient temperatures. Aged for 12 months on gross lees in large 500L Georgian acacia barrels, untopped. Unfined, unfiltered, with no added sulphur.
