About This Wine
Rioja, Spain. 100% Tempranillo. Carbonic maceration with natural yeast in open-top concrete vats. Aged in the concrete vats for 3 months for gravity-driven fining and settling then racked and bottled unfined and unfiltered. The wine is fresh with very expressive fruit. Smooth and elegant on the palate with a slight sensation of carbonation.
Placeres Sensoriales is the entry level wine and it harkens back to a time before the Bordelais came to Rioja when wines were simply made in stone vats having both a standard fermentation and some carbonic fermentation.
