About This Wine
Barolo, Italy. 100% Barbera. Peiragal is an ancient dialect of Barolo village that identifies hills with a good slope composed of calcareous compact soil and clay with big stones. The maturation lasts one year in small French Barrels (225 Liters) moderately toasted, allowing the wine to attain a perfect combination of tannin, acidity, and alcohol. The wood imparts a soft note and increases the richness of the wine. As a result, the Barbera d’Alba, Peiragal is a very fruity wine with a moderate acidity and a moderate alcohol content.
The color is a deep ruby with mauve nuances. Fragrant notes of berries mix with scents of cinnamon and vanilla to create a complex aroma. Full and elegant body, with graceful and enveloping tannins.
